Chemistry and Biology Programs

  • ​​CH201: Honor Chemistry Program (Grade 6-8)
​•Pre-AP Chemistry class. Well prepared for high school AP Chemistry and Chemistry Olympiad.
•Prepare for Middle School Science Olympiad and Science League.

  • CH301: AP Chemistry Program (Grade 9 and above)
Compatible with high school AP chemistry class. You can choose to take AP class outside the school. This class also combines with AP Chemistry Test prep.

The Chemistry Olympiad Competition and US Chemistry Team Selection Process
•Local Chemistry Olympiad Competitions is open to all high school students.   Approximately 10,000 U.S. high school students enter local Chemistry Olympiad competition vying for a chance to compete in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad and the International Chemistry Olympiad.  The local exam is a 110-minutes, 60-questions multiple choice exam available to any high school students.
•U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad Competition is a 3-part exam administrated to approximately 1,000 students.  The 20 top-scoring students are chosen to attend a study camp in order to advance to the International Chemistry Olympiad.
•Study Camp: The nation's top 20 students from the national competition spend two weeks at study camp to demonstrate their ability.  Four students are chosen to represent the United States at the International Chemistry Olympiad.
•International Chemistry Olympiad: The top four students will constitute the USA Chemistry Olympiad team to compete at the International Chemistry Olympiad Competition to test their chemistry knowledge and skills in a five-hour laboratory practical and five-hour written theoretical examination.

  • CH501: AP Chemistry Test
12 weeks AP test prep between Feb to Apr. 30 hours prep time including 5 mock tests.

  • ​B201: Honor Biology Program (Grade 6-8)
​•Pre-AP Biology class. Well prepared for high school AP Biology or Biology Olympiad.
•Prepare for Middle School Science Olympiad and Science League.

  • B301: AP Biology Program (Grade 9 and above)
Compatible with high school AP Biology class. You can choose to take AP class outside the school. This class also combines with AP Biology Test prep.

  • B401: Biology Olympiad (Grade 9 and above)
